Licence

The Zone Media GmbH holds the cantonal licence for private employment placement under Article 2 of the Swiss Employment Services Act (Arbeitsvermittlungsgesetz, AVG), granted on 12 August 2026. The licensing authority is WAS Wirtschaft Arbeit Soziales, wira, Canton of Lucerne. The business is listed in the public register of licensed placement and staff leasing businesses maintained by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO: VZAVG register. One point matters when you look it up: search for «The Zone Media GmbH» or for the company identification number CHE-434.790.230, not for «Leonly». A search for «Leonly» returns nothing, because Leonly is the brand and the licence is held by the legal entity. The entry records employment placement as licensed and staff leasing as not licensed, which is exactly what this site claims: permanent placement only, no staff leasing. There is no licence number, the certificate does not carry one. We send the cantonal decision on request to hallo@leonly.ch, and the licensing authority will confirm it directly.

Service

  • What Leonly does: places skilled workers in electrical and technical trades into permanent positions. The employment contract is concluded directly between the company and the professional.
  • Profiles: personally verified, dated and shared only with the professional's consent.
  • Specialisation: electrical and technical trades only. Electrical fitters, installation electricians, service technicians, electrical planners, project managers and master electricians.
  • Area: all German-speaking regions of Switzerland. Lucerne is the base and Central Switzerland the home market.
  • Campaign targeting: Leonly's own recruitment campaigns build the pool by role and region and can be scoped by canton or region.

What Leonly explicitly is not

  • Not a staff leasing or temporary work agency. Leonly never becomes the employer, pays no wages and handles no social insurance.
  • Not multi-sector. Enquiries outside electrical and technical trades are declined.
  • No blanket targeting. Direct outreach for a specific vacancy is limited to its realistic commuting area.
