Licence
The Zone Media GmbH holds the cantonal licence for private employment placement under Article 2 of the Swiss Employment Services Act (Arbeitsvermittlungsgesetz, AVG). The licensing authority is WAS Wirtschaft Arbeit Soziales, wira, Canton of Lucerne. The entry can be verified independently in the public register of licensed placement and staff leasing businesses maintained by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO: VZAVG register.
Service
- What Leonly does: places skilled workers in electrical and technical trades into permanent positions. The employment contract is concluded directly between the company and the professional.
- How: from a continuously maintained candidate pool rather than through advertising campaigns. Every profile is confirmed by phone every 90 days.
- Specialisation: electrical and technical trades only. Electrical fitters, installation electricians, service technicians, electrical planners, project managers and master electricians.

Background
Leonly grew out of the work of The Zone Media GmbH, which ran recruiting campaigns for electrical and trade businesses in Central Switzerland. Three results are publicly documented: Maréchaux Elektro AG in Kriens with five hires in two months, Bonetti Elektro AG in Meggen with two hires, and Anderhub Metallbau in Inwil with one position filled in under a month.
Those were campaigns, not placements. There are no placements under the Leonly name yet. Leonly launches in 2026.
Common confusions
- Leonly is not Leon & Partner. An earlier working name that was never used.
- Leonly is not JobRecruiter. That was the working name in 2023 and 2024 before the rename.
- Leonly is not The Zone Media. Same legal entity, different brand and different service. The Zone Media does marketing, Leonly places people.
